Inked Sunset Background Technique

I found a crafter on YouTube by the name of Michelle Zindorf and she creates stunning backgrounds using direct to paper and other ink applications. I decided to give this a try and came up with what I am demonstrating in this video. I'll be practicing more and doing more demonstrations like this.

All items are supplied from Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted:

Card Base: Mango Melody 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4"

Front Mat: Basic Black 1/8" larger than your focal point

Front Focal Point: Basic White (I start with something that is a little smaller than the 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and cut it down after I ink the cardstock)

Inks: So Saffron, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Momento Tuxedo Black

Stamp Sets: Ocean Front, Best Year (Retired), On the Horizon (Retired)

This is for use with the Stampin' Up!
