Etsy Store Harlequin Paper Release

I love patterned paper.  So much so, that I started creating my own with a program called Procreate.  My inspiration was a photograph that I saw on a platform called Rawpixel and wanted to make paper for the cards I make.  Fast forward, I made one in a dark green.  Well, it didn't stop there.  I needed so many more colors.  And it snowballed.  I also didn't want to keep these to myself.  Viola - an Etsy listing to share with the world.

Here's the digital downloadable Etsy listing and below is my release video on YouTube with a cutting guide for the 8-1/2" x 11" patterned paper to give you pieces for 8 cards (4 styles).

Die Cutting and Ink Pad Holding Hacks

Two hacks for the price of one: FREE!

I found a YouTube video from a creator by the name of Kathya Kalinine where she used this ink pad holding hack. Genius! And I am so surprised that no one else has caught on to using it. There is a little bit of a small investment and if you don't have arthritis in your hands, you may feel its not necessary. I probably thought the same way three years ago. Not today.

As seen in the video, if you're interested in how I swatched my ink pads and made the ink pad colored label for the Ranger Distress Ink mini ink pads check it out here: https://youtu.be/H-i4zpA5Gk0

Cover Plate Die 2 Card Fronts

I've always avoided cover plate dies until now.  My previous life as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator didn't give me much exposure to them.  So I decided to finally venture out of the box I placed myself in and see what they are all about.  This was a fun card and with the right patterned paper this makes a simply beautiful card front in both the positive and negative of the cover plate.
